These Hoatri AA batteries are the kind included with various Game Boy bundles. The Game Boy ran on four AA cells, so batteries like these shipped alongside many sets.
Surviving period batteries tend to have run flat by now and are kept purely as collector's items. The Maxell Power Ace cells, another common bundle type, are also in the collection.
