Japanese Nintendo Game Boy Car Adapter VG-01 cigarette lighter for the DMG-01

To keep the Game Boy running on long car journeys, Nintendo released this car adapter (VG-01) for the cigarette-lighter socket.

 

It was sold only in Japan. Several third-party car adapters from makers such as Mad Catz, Nuby and Laing are also catalogued in the collection.
