After the success of Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2, the third game in the series arrived in 1994. This time the player controls not Mario but his greedy rival Wario, who is searching for a home of his own and works through a string of tricky adventures.
Wario Land is the final Super Mario Land game and at the same time the start of the Wario Land series. This is the Japanese release (DMG-WJA); the US version is also catalogued in the collection.
