Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, released in 1992, sold over 10 million copies and introduced Wario, becoming one of the highest-rated Game Boy games.
Nintendo published this Japanese strategy book to guide players through its more extensive levels. The game itself is also catalogued in the collection.
