This is Nintendo's official Japanese launch-era catalogue, presenting the new Game Boy, its accessories and early software for the 1989 fiscal year.
It was promotional material introducing the Game Boy ecosystem shortly after the console's April 1989 release, and the fiscal-year marking shows it was part of a planned series of yearly catalogues. It is among the earliest publications in the collection.
