Nintendo of America used the September/October 1989 issue of Nintendo Power to introduce club members to the newly launched Game Boy, alongside its games and accessories.
The console, designed by Gunpei Yokoi, had reached the US that July. This issue captures that US launch moment and is one of the earliest publications in the collection.
