This Japanese Game Boy magazine dates from the 1989 launch year, published soon after the console's release. It covers early titles such as Tetris, Makai Toushi SaGa and Dracula Densetsu, reflecting the first software lineup that defined the Game Boy's market entry.
As an early publication it documents how the system and its first games were introduced to Japanese players. The later 1990 issue is also in the collection.
